Vacancy details are as follows

Head of the department: 3 Vacancies

• Head, Department of Agronomy

• Head, Department of Agricultural Botany

• Head, Department of Agricultural Entomology

Educational Qualifications:  1)A Ph.D. in the respective discipline; A minimum 12 years experience in teaching or research or extension education, out of which at least 3 years experience shall be in the cadre of regular Professor or its equivalent. OR A minimum 12 years experience in teaching or research or extension education, out of which 7 years experience shall be in the cadre of Associate Professor or its equivalent.
2) Experience of guiding at least 3 postgraduate students. 3) Contribution to educational innovation, the design of new curricula and courses and technology-mediated the teaching-learning process.4) Ability to initiate, organize and coordinate teaching, research and extension education.5) Evidence of at least 10 published papers in recognized journals having NAAS rating. 6) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS).

• Professor of Animal Husbandry & Dairy Science

• Professor of Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry

• Professor of Agricultural Economics

• Professor of Agricultural Entomology

• Professor of Extension Education

• Professor of Plant Pathology

• Professor of Agricultural Meteorology

• Professor of Food Technology

• Professor of Food & Nutrition

Educational Qualifications:1) A Ph.D. in respective discipline 2) A minimum 11 years experience in teaching or research or extension education, out of which 3 years experience shall be in the cadre of regular Associate Professor or its equivalent. 3) Contribution to educational innovation, the design of new curricula and courses and technology-mediated teaching-learning process. 4) Experience of guiding at least 2 postgraduate students. 5) Evidence of at least 10 published papers in recognized journals having NAAS rating. 6) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS).

Age Limit: 45 years as on 22nd January 2019 [However, this limit is not applicable to the candidates employed in any Agricultural University within Maharashtra State.]

Charges: 2000/-INR 

Pay Scale: 34,400 INR to 67,000/-INR + Grade Pay 10,000/-INR
