Osmania University: Osmania University is a state govt university in Hyderabad (Teangana), founded in 1918. It was established and named after the7th and last Nizam of Hyderabad, Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan. It is third oldest university in southern India, and first to be established in erstwhile princely State of Hyderabad. It is first Indian university to have Urdu as a medium of instruction.
