IISER Kolkata University: Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata also referred as IISER – Kolkata, is an autonomous research and education institute in Nadia district, West Bengal, India. It was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development in 2006. The institute has five major departments: biological sciences; chemical sciences; earth sciences; mathematics and statistics; and physical sciences. It offers a five-year dual bachelors-masters degree, doctoral degrees, masters degrees by research (MR) and postdoctoral studies.
